Queen Elizabeth II was reportedly outraged following the decision of some members of the Royal family to participate in a special TV game show for charity.
Queen Elizabeth II Was Humiliated Following A Royal Game Show-‘One Of The Biggest C**k-Ups Of All Time’
According to reports, Prince Edward, Sarah Ferguson, Princess Anne and Prince Andrew decided to compete against each other in order to see who was the smartest one out of them all and raise money in the process.
And as part of that process, a special one-off episode entitled ‘Royal Knockout,’ was held in order to separate the best from the rest.
While there was a significant amount of anticipation in the build up to it, the very fact of the matter is that the Queen was not best pleased with how it all turned out.
A source said: “[The Queen] was against it, but one of her faults is that she can’t say no. It’s a Royal Knockout will go down in royal history as one of the biggest c**k-ups of all time I think.”
On reflection, it is easy to see why this may have generated such a feeling. The Royal family is historically known for showcasing a certain persona, but when it comes to the following pictures, it looks as though it was more of a fancy dress party.
In the pictures here, we can see that all of the participating Royals are dressed in different coloured robes that is very typical of what Royalty would wear in a theatrical performance. And by the looks of it, that did not go down well.
The source added: “It was a disaster from beginning to end, it was absolutely humiliating. Sarah with her usual gusto entered into it, and if she gets into something she does it with bells on.”
It is safe to say that the Royal family did not cover themselves in glory, which was demonstrated as Prince Charles and Princess Diana did not take part, despite being some of the most prominent members of the Royal family at the time.
With that in mind, it is safe to say that we will not be seeing anything like this anytime soon. Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
