Talk show host Andy Cohen has given his take on Jennie Nguyen’s prior social media activity which resulted in the housewife getting a lot of backlash after they were deemed to be really racially insensitive.

According to reports, Jennie’s posts which have now been removed were claimed to be very critical of the Black Lives Matter movement.
Although she has apologised since then, the very fact of the matter is that it will take some time before she is accepted back into the public eye, just as she once was before.
During an appearance on his show ‘Watch What Happens Live’ Andy said: “The posts were very upsetting, rightfully, and disgusting.
“People were very upset about the lack of discussion on last night’s episode relating to Jennie’s disgusting and upsetting posts, and I’ve also seen all the tweets wanting to know what’s being done about those posts.”
That is why there is a feeling that this saga is not going to be dying down anytime soon. As of now, it is not clear whether or not Jennie is going to be facing any further ramifications.
But given that we live in a cancel culture, where any slip up can result in a career being destroyed, whether that action was done by accident or design, Andy’s following comments suggested that there are some major developments happening in the background.
He added: “I just want to say, in case anyone doesn’t realize it, that there are many serious discussions happening right now about everything.
“And I can’t address the situation right now, but it will be addressed very soon, and thank you for your patience.” The response on social media, however, was mixed.
A certain subset of people felt that Andy’s comments suggested that the network was trying to minimise the damage that had been done rather than come to a proper solution.
One person wrote: “Nope!! He’s saying they need to find the best way to spin it so they can maximize viewing and make larger profits off of unacceptable offensive behavior their employees!!!” So there you have it folks.
