Since retuning and claiming gold at Summerslam, Becky Lynch has been staying one step ahead of her competition. However, Liv Morgan has been able to keep up with this pace since finding a chance to battle for the RAW Women’s Championship. Lynch cheated to when then, and proceeded to try and injure the arm of Morgan afterwards, but this might all have just fired up Morgan ahead of her first ever singles title match on PPV.
Just Another Match For Becky Lynch
Liv Morgan looked ready this being her biggest match of all time, while Becky Lynch was just walking into another match. Lynch would force Morgan to the ropes, before being nailed with a springboard. Morgan took Lynch outside and slammed her face off the announce table, before having to counter the Manhandle Slam in the ring.
Lynch took the step up knee and a dropkick to the back. Morgan was keeping the pressure on, and a double foot stomp into the corner. Lynch would get her feet on the ropes to break a submission hold from Morgan.
Morgan would be swung into the ring post next, before Lynch choke her on the ropes. Lynch trapped Morgan in the ropes for a leg drop to the neck, but was only able to get a two count. Morgan had her arm grabbed into a submission, but was able to fight free before being caught with the Bex-ploder suplex.
Caught in the corner with a flying forearm shot and spin kick, before Lynch called for commentary to call her the greatest. Morgan was able to dodge the incoming pump kick, and launched face first into the turnbuckle. Finally with some control, Morgan would catch Lynch with a Thesz Press and running Enzuguri.
Liv Morgan Fails To Step Up To The Next Level
The middle rope dropkick would get Liv a two count, before she’d be nailed with the double underhook suplex. Lynch applied an armbar, but Morgan was able to counter into a pinfall. A facebuster got Morgan a two count, before she’d be caught on the top rope and have to battle free of a superplex to get a two count off a powerbomb.
Lynch would apply the DisArmHer, but Morgan got her foot on the ropes. Morgan would be able to get a roll up for two before being thrown face first into the mat for a two count. Lynch looked for the rope hung leg drop but missed, and Morgan nailed the dropkick.
Going to the outside, Lynch found no safety as Morgan hit a dive. Lynch would get back into the ring first, and stomp Morgan out. Morgan would take Lynch to the outside and trap her arm in the steel steps, before stomping Lynch out.
Back into the ring, Lynch regained control again and went to the middle rope, before being taken down with an armreaker. Rings of Morgan was applied, but Lynch got the pinfall counter. Oblivion was blocked into the ManHandle Slam, and this one was over.
