Hello and welcome to WWE Smackdown live Results!
Tonight looks like an interesting one as we take one step close to a possible title unification as Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns come face to face, and we get another Usos vs. New Day tag championship match but this time it’s a street fight.
We’ll be back for the 8 p.m. EST start time to get WWE Smackdown Live Results rolling.
Segment 1
Brock Lesnar challenged Roman Reigns to a title vs. title match, and Reigns refused because he’s with Paul Heyman.
Heyman had a slight meltdown, and when Lesnar told him to shut up Reigns sucker punched him with a Superman Punch and left.
Segment 2
Sami Zayn vs. Rick Boogs w/Shinsuke Nakamura
After Zayn told Johnny Knoxville he’s not good enough to be in the Royal Rumble, Boogs caught him in the ring with a pair of belly to belly suplexes and a press slam as we headed to commercial.
Segment 3
Zayn talked trash with Nakamura on the floor, and when he reentered the ring Boogs rolled him up for the win.
Johnny Knoxville snuck up behind Zayn and dumped him over the top rope to qualify for the Royal Rumble and will be in the match.
Segment 4
The women’s Royal Rumble was announced, with Mickie James (yes, that Mickie James and Impact was mentioned) and Lita returning.
Naomi challenged Charlotte Flair to a championship match and slugged her and sent Flair to the floor.
Segment 5
Smackdown Women’s Championship Contender’s Match – Charlotte Flair vs. Naomi
The match was already in progress with Flair in control, but Naomi hit a Blockbuster on the floor and Sonya Deville came out and said the match can’t end in count out when it was obvious Flair wouldn’t beat the count.
Flair then hit Naomi from behind as we headed to commercial.
Segment 6
Deville came out to change the rules when Naomi reached the ropes to break a figure 8, and she announced only a pin or submission would win.
After exchanging pin attempts, Flair hit a Natural Selection for the win.
Segment 7
Happy Corbin and Madcap Moss mocked Drew McIntyre with Moss pretending to be McIntyre, and the Viking Raiders finally came out for their match as we headed to commercial.
Segment 8
The Viking Raiders (Erik, Ivar) vs. Happy Corbin and Madcap Moss
This was a quick one Corbin and Moss took over after an initial dominance by the Viking Raiders. While Corbin took out Ivar, Moss hit the Punchline (neckbreaker) on Eric for the win.
Segment 9
Street Fight Smackdown Tag Team Championship – The Usos (Jimmy, Jey) vs. The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods)
This match started fast as Woods and Kofi double teamed Jimmy to start off, then Kofi took out the Uso with a leap from the ring post to the floor as we headed to commercial.
Segment 10
They took it to the floor, then the ring and even brought out the duck tape before the Usos took out Kofi and Woods with the ring steps, and Woods hit a double clothesline as we headed to commercial.
Segment 11
This was an awesomely brutal match the Usos won after hitting a assisted neckbreaker through a table on Kofi for the win.
Backstage, Seth Rollins entered Reigns’ dressing room and started laughing. Could he be Reigns’ next opponent?
