Hello and welcome to WWE Smackdown Results!

Tonight should be a fun one with the Royal Rumble tomorrow and we can’t wait to see what happens.

    Let’s get to the action!

Charlotte Flair started the night off by coming to the ring, and she wasted no time in telling Kansas City she did something the Chiefs can’t do and that’s bring a championship to the city.

She gave a break down of what it’s like in the Royal Rumble with everyone doing what it takes to win.

She could’ve cruised to WrestleMania but she wanted to take control, and if she wins she’s going to choose who her opponent will be.

Shayna Baszler came out and said bodies crashing and limbs snapping is music to her ears, and then pointed out of it’s the two of them again she won’t hesitate to snap Flair like a twig.

She then promised to declare Flair as her opponent at WrestleMania.

Aliyah was next to throw her hat in the ring. She introduced herself and she’s super excited and had a stomach full of butterflies.

She touted beating Natalya in 3.117 seconds to set the WWE record, and Natalya came out in response and promised to add another record to her list.

Shotzi was next and pointed out the chaos is perfect for her to slip in and steal the spotlight.

Sasha Banks made a surprise appearance to a loud pop from the crowd. She said she’s ready to rumble, then slapped Flair and a brawl broke out.

Natalya took Flair down with a clothesline then went after Aliyah. Aliyah sent Natalya and Baszler to the floor, then Flair hit her with a big boot.

Banks caught Flair’s boot and dumped her over the top rope to send a message heading into the Rumble.

Sheamus and Ridge Holland vs. Cesaro and Ricochet

Sheamus and Cesaro started it off with a tie up that ended in a draw, then a second one with a series of headlocks and leg scissors before Sheamus headed to the floor.

Cesaro hit a clothesline and a double stomp, then tagged in Ricochet but Sheamus hit him with a knee and tagged Holland in.

Ricochet took it to Holland, who looked to be having trouble seeing, and hit Holland with a flip over the ropes as we headed to commercial.

Ricochet fought back against Sheamus, but Sheamus caught him with an Irish Curse backbreaker off the ropes, and Holland came in and muscled Ricochet from corner to corner before hitting a belly to belly suplex.

Cesaro tagged in and took it to Sheamus and dumped him over the top ropes, then hit a running uppercut on the floor.

Holland broke up a pin attempt and ate a missile dropkick from Ricochet. Sheamus nailed Ricochet with a knee, and Cesaro hit Sheamus with a slam for a near pinfall.

Holland blind tagged in and hit Cesaro with a headbutt with his mask when he was going to Swing Sheamus, then hit a Northern Grit slam on Cesaro for the win.

This was a good one and had a little bit of everything.

It’s all about numbers Royal Rumble run down of the some of the Rumble’s greatest moments.

    Naomi vs. Sonya Deville

Deville ducked a right and ducked into the ropes to force the ref to back Naomi away, then slipped away like quicksilver.

When Deville wanted to get involved, she took Naomi down and beat and stomped away before slamming her face first into the mat.

Naomi sent her to the floor with a hurricanrana, but Deville maintained control with her strikes and kicks.

Naomi took control, but slid into Deville’s grasp and Deville pulled her under the ropes and hit a elbow slam on the floor as we headed to commercial.

Deville kept short circuiting Naomi’s comeback attempts and continued to work over Naomi until Naomi kipped up out of nowhere despite the beating and his a boot and a springboard stunner.

Naomi hit a crossbody and leg drop for a pair of pin attempts, but Deville sent her into the turnbuckle and then hit a vertical suplex-inverted DDT for a near pinfall.

Naomi hit a rear view and split legged moonsault for the win. This was a good match, so can we end this feud already?

In WWE Smackdown Results’ opinion, this match should’ve happened a couple of months ago.

Naomi celebrated in the ring after 153 days of being tortured she shined through and mockingly sent Deville on her way.

Deville came back out with her corporate jacket on and hysterically announced she’s going to be in the Rumble.
