Hello and welcome to WWE Smackdown Results!
This should be a fun Christmas themed episode with some good looking matches.
Let’s get to the action!
After a recap of Roman Reigns firing Paul Heyman, it switched to an interview earlier today where Kayla Braxton asked him what happened, and he said he told the truth and it was a truth Reigns didn’t want to hear.
He doesn’t regret telling Reigns the truth as it’s his role as special council and to protect Reigns and the championship.
.@HeymanHustle ponders whether he has reached the end of his career after suffering the humiliation of being fired by @WWERomanReigns last week on #SmackDown. pic.twitter.com/meGwQZ46oW

He said Reigns is the greatest Universal Champion of all time, but he needs to be protected from Brock Lesnar.
When asked what’s next for him and he said he doesn’t know. He does know he needs Roman Reigns, and without him his career’s over.
Smackdown Women’s Championship – Charlotte Flair (c) vs. Toni Storm
Flair started it off in control, but Storm attempted to turn the tide with a crossbody for a pin attempt, and then a basement drop kick for another pin attempt.
Flair ducked out to the floor to gather her thoughts and mess with Storm’s head.
Back in the ring, Flair turned the tables and ran Storm into a pair of turnbuckles before working her over.
Flair locked in a leg triangle on Storm, and Storm bridged for a pin attempt to force Flair to break the hold.

Storm hit a headbutt, and Flair sent her to the floor with a big boot as we headed to commercial.
Flair berated and mocked Storm, demanding her to give her everything to prove she belongs and then she hit a clothesline for a near pinfall.
Storm fought back and hit a German suplex for a pin attempt, then look to capitalize on the momentum shift, but Flair had something to say about that.
Flair slapped on a figure 4 but Storm managed to roll over and reach the ropes, but Flair sent her to the floor with a pair of big boots.
Storm fought back and they exchanged pin attempts until Flair countered a small package and rolled Storm over for the pin.
This was a really good match and showed Storm’s tenacity to keep fighting. We expected a good match and the way they did worked this did a great job showing Flair’s dominance and Storm’s resilience.
It’ll open the door for Storm to have a rebound and begin her ascent to the top and WWE Smackdown Results can’t wait to see how it all goes down.
