Amid all the talk about where Cody Rhodes is going, Brandi Rhodes has slipped under the radar for many.
As a talented in ring performer, she’d give any company a good and solid talent improve their women’s division, and her work as AEW’s brand officer could open other doors for her as well.
Much like her husband, Brandi had a lot to do with AEW’s growth and product on the screen as she was reportedly booking for their women’s division when the company started.
After she and Cody were so prominent on AEW TV, it’s hard imagining them not being together in a company moving forward, but it appears she won’t follow Cody to WWE if that’s where he’s going.

She wants wrestling gold
It was reported in SI.com that Brandi wants to win a women’s championship and that wasn’t going to happen in AEW, so she has her sights set elsewhere.
Like with Cody, the AEW they helped start and furthered their own development has evolved over time as well, and he options there may have been limited.
She was also part of the WWE in 2011 and 2013 to 2016 under the name Eden Stiles, with the latter run as a ring announcer on NXT, WrestleMania 31, and then as Lilian Garcia’s backup on Raw.
Brandi has the skills to fit just about any position a company would need her in, but it sounds like she wants to return to more in ring action than not and we wish her the best.
It’ll be fun to see her in action wherever she goes.
Possible WWE storylines
If she would go with Cody into the WWE, there are a few storylines they could step into right away, like feuding with the Miz and Maryse, Edge and Beth Phoenix, or even Stephanie and Triple H for the top power couple, depending on Triple H’s health.
While seeing them attempt to take over the WWE from Stephanie and Triple H would have been fun, it’s also a played out angle following Miz and Maryse’s feud with Edge and Phoenix.
The WWE would probably do the same feud with small tweaks and it’d feel more like rehashing instead of something new and energetic, but we’ll never know.
There are numerous companies that could use Brandi, so we don’t see her settling as she’ll have her pick of where to go. This will be fun to watch unfold over the next couple of weeks.
