‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re set to keep things rolling with some fun spoilery goodies.
It looks like we’re heading back into Newman central as Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will take the next step to protecting his company while playing to Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle)’s gratitude and loyalty to him.
At some point, we’d like to see Victor knocked down a few hundred pegs with his children doing to him what he’s done to them, but we’ll probably have a long wait.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Thursday, February 3: Victor shares his suspicions
Victor’s going to share what he’s learned and suspects about Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) with Victoria in the hopes of showing her the truth.
She won’t believe him, but she’s seen enough to warrant asking Ashland about everything. We’ve been saying no one goes with him to his doctor’s appointments and they could be fake, and they’re just now figuring that out.
Of course, Victor’s only worried about it now as he wants to protect his company and legacy. As for Victoria, he cares about her but had no problem protecting their wedding and keeping the truth buried.
He’ll claim he did it for her so she could have that day, but if it was about her he would’ve tried to figure out how to approach her earlier instead of waiting for Ashland to have his hooks in the company.
In the end, Victor will be right and he’ll continue to turn Victoria against every man except him as she’ll probably fall into old form and become loyal to him again.
But what if she doesn’t and works to take him down?
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Thursday, February 3: Michael digs into Nate
While Victor’s trying to turn Victoria against her husband, and rightfully so if Ashland’s running a takeover con, Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) will have a “friendly” chat with Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic).
Michael will want to know all about what Michael and Nate talked about, but especially about Ashland’s illness.
Since Nate gave the green light to check out the Peru place, he’ll want to know what he thinks of the chances the treatment would work.
Nate will admit he thought it was a long shot, but it looks to be working. It’ll give Michael more evidence Ashland has to be faking, and ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers are curious what they’ll do with it.
We think it’d be hilarious if everything’s on the up and up, but we know that won’t happen.
