‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re set for hump day with some fun spoilery goodies to share.
Things are going to heat up in Genoa City, and we’re crossing our fingers it’ll be more then he lukewarm “shocking reveals” we’ve experienced over the last couple of years.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Wednesday, February 9: Ashland’s cornered
Now that secret after secret has been uncovered, Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) will be hemmed in by Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) about the facility in Peru and his cancer.
It’s going to be the moment of big discovery, but ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers have a feeling it’ll be another let down following the previous two.
It’ll probably be surprising to some degree, but it’ll be written in a way that is easily explained away or will force Ashland to be honest with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) once again.
We’ll also continue to see the destruction of a character that was billed as being on Victor’s level, but he won’t be more than a paperboy at heart.
Of course, we’d love for the treatments to be real and Victor to eat crow, but that’s not how it works. Can’t have Victor lose on any level.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Wednesday, February 9: Nikki’s helping hand
Now that we got the snarkiness out of the way, we’re shifting into a fun scene that’ll help bring the feels as Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will get some help from Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott).
It’s going to be a good moment when Lily’s idea to commemorate Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John) comes to fruition, and Nikki will point her in the right direction to make her idea a reality.
We expect some flashback moments as they talk about Neil to help set up Lily’s idea.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Wednesday, February 9: Victoria puts Adam in his place
We have a feeling Victoria won’t approve of Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) hiring Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) as his COO without her consent, and she’ll remind him that he answers to her and is technically her employee.
Adam will patiently listen and inform her Sally’s more than capable of the job and she’s his employee so it was his call.
They’re both right in a way, and this is nothing more than Victoria trying to remind Adam he lost and she’s daddy’s favorite.
We think she’s also going to push him as hard as she can so he reverts to his old ways and she can once again be proud she was right.
At this point, we expect almost anything out of Victoria and for Victor to agree. Just like he did about those videos without pausing to pay attention to Adam not running with them.
