One Direction star Louis Tomlinson put a halt to his concert last week in order to aid a fan that was in distress.
One Direction Star Louis Tomlinson Halts His Concert To Aid A Fan In Distress
According to reports, the singer was performing in Minneapolis. And during the course of his concert, he was singing one of his hit songs ‘”Walls.”
But when it became clear that something had gone wrong, Louis decided to direct his security to the fan. In the video here, Louis is telling the crowd to take a break, as the fan is getting some help.
And this demonstrates that musicians have learnt following the Astroworld tragedy in which a reported 10 people were killed, as well as many others injured following Travis Scott’s concert.
Much like Louis, Billie Eilish had also done a similar thing, when she decided to stop her concert, so that a fan could get an inhaler.
Unlike Louis, however, she decided to shade Travis by commenting, ‘I wait for people to be ok.’ This had gotten on the wrong side of Kanye West, who demanded that Billie apologise in the aftermath of her comments.
The latter did not do so and denied that her comments were directed towards Travis. With that being said, it was not surprising to see that Louis was lauded on social media for doing the right thing.
After all, it showed that he cared for his fans, as well as the fact that he knew that his career was on the line if he had not done so in light of Astroworld. One person wrote: “Sobbing over this rn.”
It is great to see more precautions being taken for the safety of fans. And this can put to bed any fears that concerts are not a safe place to return to. And yet, Louis will have to put that experience behind him, as he is currently on his world tour.
And with the pandemic having put a dent in his plans before, the last thing that he wants to do is see anything happen to his fans. So there you have it folks. What do you think about Louis’ response to the situation?
