Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been accused of being motivated by money.
Royal Expert Claims That Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Have ‘Obviously Got Their Eye On The Money’
That is according to Royal expert Richard Mineards. It is no secret that the couple have managed to secure some very impressive deals in the aftermath of their departure from the Royal Family in 2020.
This has included a reported $100 million deal with Netflix, as well as a reported $25 million deal with Spotify.
And this has been compared to how talk show host James Cordon has managed to set up a similar lifestyle by getting involved in various ventures.
In an interview with the Evening Standard, Richard said: “They’ve obviously got their eye on the money like their good friend James Corden who now earns something like $12 million per season of The Late Late Show.’
“I think they’d like to get on that sort of level where hopefully they can earn lots of money and get their views across.”
Nevertheless, it is important to bear in mind that it is the manner in which the money is spent rather than the actual act of acquiring it that needs to be focused on.
And this is something that Richard does recognise. The couple have, in their defence, managed to give back to the community as demonstrated by Megan’s 40×40 campaign.
Meghan recently set up a mentoring scheme that was designed to help women, who were being affected by the pandemic, to get back into work.
Not only that, but Harry has also taken up a role as a Chief Impact Officer with the company ‘BetterUp’ where he recently spoke about the importance of keeping one’s mental health in check.
Richard added: “[They will] also do good things with The Archewell foundation as well.” As long as the couple manage to live a life according to their own choosing, then that is the most important thing going forward.
And by basing themselves in the United States, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle can free themselves from the pressures and expectations that would have otherwise been imposed on them by the Royal family.
