Prince William and Kate Middleton have had to pick up the pieces ever since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle left the Royal family.
Royal Expert Claims That Prince William And Kate Middleton Are ‘Shouldering More Of The WorkLoad’ Of The Royal Family
That is according to Royal expert Jennie Bond. It is no secret that the couple’s workload has increased, especially since Queen Elizabeth’s health problems have not made things any easier.
Not only that, but by being parents with children, they have had to balance their workload meticulously especially in light of the pandemic. And that has naturally taken a toll due to the absence of manpower.
In an interview with the Daily Star, Jennie said: “It’s been quite tough on William and Kate, with their young family, to step up and take on so many more responsibilities.
“They obviously set up shop with the idea that the four of them would share out the workload and now it’s just the two of them.” And yet, by doing so, the couple have managed to become more relatable with the public.
They stood by the Queen in the aftermath of Prince Philip’s death and have even taken on a leading role when it comes to the vaccination programme within the United Kingdom.
So much so that the couple have reportedly become more popular than Harry and Meghan whose influence has diminished. And yet, that has not made things any easier.
Jennie added: “William has an awful lot else to do, so Kate is shouldering more of the workload. It must be difficult with the children, but they are getting used to the reality.”
In reality, the couple have had around 2 years to prepare for this moment. And unlike Meghan and Harry, there seems to be no disharmony coming out of the media with regards to their personal life.
The major challenge that they will have to deal with is Prince Andrew’s sexual assault allegations, something which did make William feel uncomfortable as he refused to address any media questions about it.
The duo may not have foreseen that they would have an increasing amount of workload, but they have nevertheless taken it in their stride. And that at the very least should be commended.
