Former ‘Real Housewives of Orange County’ star Meghan King has admitted that she has found it very difficult to coparent with her ex-husband Jim Edmonds.

The duo, for their part, had decided to get married in 2014. During the course of their relationship, they managed to raise three children together: Aspen, Hart and Hayes.
But things all came crashing down, when claims emerged that Jim had been cheating with none other than their children’s nanny at the time.
That is when Meghan decided that she had enough, as they walked away from each other in 2019. But that has left things on a very bitter note. In an interview with Us Weekly, Meghan said: “I don’t know what coparenting is.
“I struggle with communication [with him]. I don’t know what it is…In order to coparent, you have to communicate right… Jim hates me. It’s horrible.”
One of the reasons that has potentially plagued any co-parenting relationship has been Jim’s decision to get engaged with Kortnie O’Connor.
While there are no suggestions that Kortnie is having a negative influence on Jim when it comes to his kids, there is no denying the fact that his life is not what it was when he was with Meghan.
As such, he has a new woman who has also become a priority within his life which should not be ignored. And yet, it looks as though Meghan is not too fond of Kortnie.
She added: “I don’t communicate with her either… I don’t think [the kids] like it. I don’t think they know any different, but I don’t think they like it either. I wish we could discuss things about our children, but we can’t.”
The only way that Meghan can potentially make any headway is to sort out her personal life too. Her recent break up from her three-month marriage to Cuffe Owens is hardly a sign of stability that is needed when you have children.
If she can manage to overcome that hurdle, then Jim may potentially take her more seriously when it comes to having a co-parenting relationship. Time will tell.
