Today, February 25, 2022, is Ric Flair’s 73rd birthday and we’re grateful to see him still around to celebrate another trip around the sun.
But the bigger news, depending on one’s perspective, is that he was spotted by the Dailymail.co.uk at LAX getting ready to fly out with 28 year old Kelly Brewster.
The part of this that has caught the attention of many isn’t his traveling companion, but that they’re together less than a month since his separation from Wendy Barlow.
After Flair and Wendy held a ceremony in Florida in September 2018, the news eventually broke that they weren’t really married as Flair admitted it was only a ceremony and they were never truly married.
Given his past, he could be shy about tying the knot again and is only interested in unofficial marriages.
Unknown relationship status
While the timing will have several fans curious about what’d going on, there isn’t much known about Flair’s relation ship with Brewster.
She could be a new girlfriend or a close friend that’s helping him with his things when traveling. Until they say something we doubt we’ll know any more than that, but fans will speculate away.
Brewster was reportedly seen helping Flair fix his shirt and mask, so they’re definitely comfortable together.
To be fair, any attention is something Flair earned as his reputation as a ladies’ man is well known from this traveling days.
His four previous marriages also weigh in on the public’s assessment of him and his actions.
He was married to Leslie Goodman from 1971 to 1983, then Elizabeth Harrell from 1983 to 2006. His third marriage was to Tiffany VanDemark from 2006 to 2009, and his fourth to Jackie Beems lasted from 2009 to 2014.
His activities have also opened him up to criticism and accusations like the accusations of sexual assault “The Plane Ride From Hell” episode of The Dark Side of the Ring helped resurface.
Love him of hate him, Flair’s made a name for himself in many ways and he’s not the first or last to have that distinction.
The history of pro wrestling is littered with broken relationships and multiple dalliances seemingly on par with rock and movie stars, and it’s made for interesting discoveries over the years.
