Sometimes in WWE, the way to get to the top is by being in a tag team. It doesn’t happen often, but names like Edge & Jeff Hardy started in WWE as mainly tag team wrestling. Even in recent years we’ve seen some tag team mainstays in Kofi Kingston, Big E and Jey Uso make runs at the main event picture. Kofi Kingston & Big E would even claim reigns as WWE Champion – and soon someone else is expected to do the same. The Street Profits have been one of the hottest tag team acts in WWE for a long time, but everyone knows Montez Ford is a future main event star.
The Rock Can’t Wait To See Montez Ford As A World Champion
When it comes down to someone with all the tools to be a star in professional wrestling, Montez Ford is already there. He’s got the great look, has loads of charisma, and has proven many times he’s a fantastic wrestler in the ring. Ford has already gone toe to toe with the likes of Roman Reigns, and looked like a star in the process.
Even WWE legend and Hollywood star Dwanye ‘The Rock’ Johnson is a fan, and can’t wait to celebrate Ford as a WWE Champion. He’d say the following on Instagram after Ford praised The Rock on the Out of Character podcast.
