The producers have made the decision to air a second season, which will include some of the former cast members. It is not exactly clear who will make up the cast, but the current speculation has put the following people in the running.
Jill Zarin and Dorinda Medley are just some of the names that have been mentioned. Meanwhile, the producers have also declared their intention to run the reboot alongside another season of the same show but with a new cast altogether.
With so many things in the pipeline, it was surprising to see that Bethenny was not too keen on the idea.
In a post to her fans on TikTok, she said: “My thoughts on the #RHONY reboot…It’s a long story, and it’s very f–king boring. Jesus. Like, f–k.” In reality, Bethenny’s comments may be explained on the following grounds.
First of all, she no longer lives in the city. Therefore, she is hardly going to be interested in a show that is not going to impact her. This has also been accompanied by claims that she has not declared her intention to return.
Secondly, she is currently preoccupied with more important matters. Bethenny’s work with her BStrong Foundation has taken up a lot of her time.
As of now, reports show that she is on course to raise $100 million to aid the people of Ukraine. Clearly, this is a bigger priority for her than a reality show.
Nevertheless, fans did not stop from expressing their desire to see the star return. Large numbers of people wanted to see Bethenny, given that she was one of the OG members of the show.
One fan wrote: “Of course [sic] she’s the #1 ranked housewife! RHONY was nothing until Bethenny. Don’t say that to Ramona [Singer] tho. Her head might explode!”
Time will tell how the reboot plays out, but one thing for sure is that Bethenny’s appearance would only go on to enhance the anticipation that has been brewing up for the new season.
