Following AEW Revolution, we have two new factions who are looking for control in the company. The first is the Jericho Appreciation Society, which is basically a re-skin of The Inner Circle with more ‘Sports Entertainment’ in the mix. However the more interesting group is Blackpool Combat Club. Consisting of William Regal, Bryan Danielson & Jon Moxley – they’re looking to recruit and train the best of the AEW roster, and could have their first female applicant already.
Diamante Promises Violence On AEW Dark
When it comes to the conditions that need fulfilling to join the Blackpool Combat Club, it’s really simple. You need to be tough as nails, and to crave violence. If anyone in the AEW Women’s Division fits that mold, it’s Diamante.
Having never really gotten a hook onto AEW beyond AEW Dark, Diamante is someone who is hungry to prove herself, and get bigger chances in the company. Her links to Iveliese halted any real momentum, and while a reunion with some L.A.X pals in Santana & Ortiz could be in the future – right now, she’s got eyes on violence.
Diamante would tweet the following ahead of her next match on AEW Dark, saying the following.
“I promise violence tomorrow on AEW Dark. ”
Diamante is set to face Kelsey Heather, an unsigned name looking to get her look in the door with AEW. Right now, Diamante has won nine of her last eleven matches.
Wheeler Yuta Has Also Been Looking For A Spot Amongst Moxley & Danielson
Another name on the AEW roster who wants to get under the learning tree of William Regal is Wheeler Yuta. Having now split off from Best Friends after an argument with Trent? over Yuta seeking out mentorship from Regal, Yuta is a free man.
He’s been tested by Danielson & Moxley, and has proven his toughness. Now, he’s just got to prove he can be violent, and win the approval of Regal.
