Recently, we have seen a lot of crossover between WWE & Jackass. With Jackass: Forever being released in February, there’s been some crossover. Johnny Knoxville was in the 2022 Royal Rumble, one of the highlights of the entire show.
He’d proceed to cost Sami Zayn the WWE Intercontinental Championship, and will go on to face Zayn in a match at Wrestlemania. However, just ahead of Royal Rumble – Wee Man would mix it up with Brock Lesnar in a hotel lobby, and was slammed through a table.
Wee Man Was Never Slammed Like That Before
While speaking to Coming Soon’s Tyler Treese, Wee Man would have a chance to reflect on being tossed through a table by the current WWE Champion.
“I have never been body-slammed like that. That was probably the worst ever, and Preston, my buddy right there, was sitting right across from me and I had never seen him laugh as hard as he did when that was going down.”
When questioned about if he would ever consider actually getting into the wrestling industry and having a match – Wee Man had the following to say.
“I’m not going to say no. That’s all I can say right now… I might fire up Brock Lesnar.”
Sami Zayn Might Bump Into A Ghost From His Past
With Johnny Knoxville set for a ‘Anything Goes’ match with Sami Zayn at Wrestlemania – this is worth paying attention to. Zayn might not only have to deal with Knoxville, and the entire crew of Jackass aren’t above getting thrown around.
One fun idea is having Wee Man hit the ring dressed as El Generico, the indy wrestling persona of Zayn. Zayn recently would say “that guy doesn’t exist anymore” when asked about El Generico, which is something fans took notice of.
The full quote about El Generico is as followed, from an interview with Peter Rosenberg.
“I think people have a fondness for the past. It’s kind of normal that I get asked questions about past incarnations or past things in my career, ‘will we see this again?’ Some fans, and I take this as a positive because they have a lot of fondness towards my good guy days in NXT. And there is a kinship there and they felt a connection to that character. I’ll get messages saying, ‘When are we going to get that guy back?’ Well, that guy doesn’t exist anymore.”
