The award-winning royal biographer said “I think Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge should stick to being herself. She doesn’t need to try to be someone else including Diana. She’s great as she is.” Nevertheless, Kate’s continuous comparison with Diana is not her doing.
The mother of three is on the radar due to the Diana-like qualities she unintentionally possesses. Royal author Robert Jobson even revealed that Kate should be regarded as the “new Diana” because she has the needed potential to match the legacies of her mother-in-law.
Reacting to an interview question on if the Duchess of Cambridge could grow into becoming more like Princess Diana, Jobson said “I think she has the quality, there is no doubt about it.” “She is far more confident than she was, she speaks eloquently, she was fantastic on her recent visit to Copenhagen”.
“So I think she has certainly got the ability to be a new star and one day, of course, she may take that title that was made famous by Diana, Princess Diana, the Princess of Wales”, he added.
