According to a highly respected royal biographer, Ingrid Seward, Kate Middleton will always remember how she was badly treated by Meghan Markle but won’t protract rift with Duchess. Some years ago, a trending story had it that Kate and Meghan clashed intensively at the wedding between Meghan and Prince Harry in 2018.
Kate Middleton Will Be Happy To See Meghan Markle Despite Their Clash
Based on the rumors back then, the Duchess of Cambridge hurt Meghan Markle so much that the former “Suits” actress began to cry. Nevertheless, Seward recently revealed that due to their issues in the past, Kate Middleton will welcome the Duchess of Sussex with open arms if they cross paths at the Jubilee.
Kate Middleton Will Not Forget How Badly Meghan Markle Dealt With Her But Won’t Elongate Rift With Her
Speaking in a recent interview, the veteran royal biographer claimed that Kate Middleton will be friendly towards Meghan Markle, “She will be sure to be photographed kissing or hugging her…She knows there is no point in prolonging a feud that has the opportunity of being repaired.”
Seward further claimed that the Duchess of Cambridge will not allow her emotions to get in her way of relating with Meghan. The royal biographer said “She has to – that is part of her job. Her private feelings have to remain just that.”
Moreover, according to royal correspondent Katie Nicholl, the rift between the Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle has been on for a long time and Kate had tried all she could to keep it a secret but was exposed by the press.
Katie Nicholl revealed in a magazine interview last year that “Kate has never wanted any suggestion of a rift with Meghan to come out in the press, so for this story to be circulating is very hard.” The royal expert further suggested that Kate was left unhappy, frustrated, and pained after Sussex’s controversial interview with Oprah Winfrey was released early last year.
Despite all that has happened between the two duchesses, many royal fans are hopeful that they both push aside their differences at the Jubilee celebrations. For now, every royal enthusiast remains optimistic that Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle will return to the UK ahead of the celebration.
