Prince William has revealed that he has found it difficult to discuss the current situation in Ukraine following the brutal Russian invasion with his three children after they returned from school with several questions about the war.

The Duke of Cambridge and Kate Middleton recently stopped by the Ukrainian Cultural Centre in London to obtain information on how volunteers in the UK and Europe can provide aid for Ukrainians during the ongoing Russian offensive in Ukraine.
Prince William Finds It Difficult To Discuss The Ukrainian War With His Kids
During the tour, Prince William told some volunteers and associates of England’s Ukrainian community that all his children are fully conscious of the events unfolding in Ukraine. He said “Ours have been coming home asking all about it.
They are obviously talking about it with their friends at school.” Prince William added that in talking with his young wards about the war, he’s had to “choose my words carefully to explain what is going on.” Moreover, before departing the Ukrainian Cultural Centre, Prince William and wife Kate Middleton also shared some conversations with volunteers, on the aids they are providing and the difficulties there are still encountering.
The royal couple also had a chat with Saleh Saeed, the Chief Executive Officer of the Disasters Emergency Committee, on the current Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal and donated some homemade baked food to Mr.Saeed for distribution to those affected by the war.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge had formerly voiced their support for Ukraine on Twitter within the first few days of the invasion by Russian troops. The tweet had read “In October 2020 we had the privilege to meet President Zelenskyy and the First Lady to learn of their hope and optimism for Ukraine’s future. Today we stand with the President and all of Ukraine’s people as they bravely fight for that future.”
In perilous times like this, the Prince William and Kate Middleton have joined millions of people all over the world to express the disappointment towards the Russian invasion of Ukraine that has shocked the world. The huge humanitarian efforts they have put in place show everyone why they remain one of the most loved couples in the UK.
