1000-lb Sisters star, Tammy Slaton has received a lot of backlash from viewers throughout her weight loss journey. The TLC star took a break from social media earlier this year to improve her health, but she is back to share updates on Season 4 of the show and answering some curious fans.
Tammy Responds To Critics
Tammy is known for addressing criticism, but it seems she is ready to respond to some people this time around. The TLC star has been answering questions from her TikTok followers about where she has been and why she hasn’t taken her health seriously until now.
Where Is Tammy Now And When Will Season 4 Aor?
A particular comment got her attention. The user said that she didn’t want to change her life, instead, she was just enjoying the attention from her followers. Tammy then shared a video of her explaining herself. In the video, she said, “Just because I f***ed up on TV and didn’t lose my weight, does not mean I don’t want to make changes.
If I didn’t want to make changes, I wouldn’t be in this facility, and I chose to come back here, I chose to get help. I hit rock bottom and I’m making changes.” The TLC star revealed that she is still in rehab, working on her health. Season 3 ended with her being placed in a medically induced coma. A tracheotomy tube had to be placed in her throat to allow her to breathe.
This happened after some really wild behavior on her part. Tammy admitted that she had indulged herself in excessive drinking and partying. She said that she was also eating poorly. Tammy went on to share about her struggle with depression and anxiety. She went on to say that she hopes dealing with her mental issues will help her work on her weight. Tammy hopes to lose enough weight to be able to undergo bariatric surgery.
‘1000-Lb. Sisters’ Season 4 – When Will It Air?
Tammy said that her fans would have to wait for an update from her about her weight loss. While Tammy mentioned the next season of her show, the filming has not started, so there is not set date for it to air. Fans don’t know when they will see the Slaton sisters on TV again. Season 3 ended on January 31, 2022 after it was announced in March of that year. Perhaps, season 4 will air soon.
