With WrestleMania 38 just over a week away, the WWE is going all out to promote the event from joining Fathom Events to show the event in theaters to joining with Nextbite to establish a virtual restaurant in Dallas, Texas called WWE Smackadillas.
This isn’t the WWE’s first foray into food as they’ve had WWE ice cream sandwiches with images of their wrestlers on them to The World, a WWE themed restaurant in Time Square, New York.
Neither one lasted for long, but the ice cream sandwiches are remembered fondly with a sense of nostalgia.

Promotions ahead
The announcement was made on WWE.com and on social media. Smackadillas is available on DoorDash, Uber Eats, and Grubhub.
“WWE is one of the premier sports and entertainment organizations in the world and is known for giving their passionate fan base exactly what they want,” said Geoff Madding, Chief Growth Officer for Nextbite. “Whether you order WWE Smackadillas from the comfort of your couch or on your way home from WrestleMania, we look forward to amping up the total WWE experience with these delicious quesadillas for all the hungry fans in the Dallas area.”
WWE Smackadillas is a local promotional tool for Dallas and will be open until April 11 to help cure fans’ cravings for a myriad of quesadillas and to help promote WrestleMania.
According to the WWE, WWE Smackadillas will also have an assortment of activities and giveaways during the week leading up to WrestleMania such as tickets and WWE merchandise.
WWE doing what it does best
There’s no denying the WWE is all about creating moments and marketing as their “in your face” style of promoting during their shows goes hand in hand with the many ways they reach out to fans through giveaways and such.
Vince and company want to give their fans the best experience and memories they can, and this just shows how Vince is willing to give anything a try if it helps the WWE.
Vince has always been a step ahead when it comes to presentation and marketing, and in the end, the WWE is more about the moments and experiences rather than matches and storylines.
It’s what they’ve become over the years following the Monday Night Wars, and it’s what they tried to become in the 90s before WCW stepped up.
We have to admit it’s a shame they aren’t doing the promotion on a larger scale, but keeping it in Dallas with WrestleMania makes the most sense.
