    WWE Raw Results (3/14) – Riddle w/Randy Orton Defeated Montez Ford w/Angelo Dawkins by Disqualification when Alpha Academy interfered; Scott Hall Tribute; Kevin Owens Defeated Seth Rollins by Pinfall

    WWE Raw Results returned as RK-Bro headed to the ring for their championship celebration.

    Riddle said he keeps playing last week’s events over and over in his head, and he gets it now. They’re going to WrestleMania.

    Orton said this will be his 18th appearance at WrestleMania, and it’ll be the best ever because this is the first time he’s going into the event as a tag team champion and with a friend.

    He thanked Riddle for always having his back and they embraced, and now he wanted to return the favor and throw a party for them.

    As they were about to get things started, the Street Profits came out to crash the party to officially congratulate them and, of course, get their title shot.

    After they issued their challenge, Orton refused after listing everything they went through and the Street Profits got a little testy and pushy.

    Ford mentioned how they owe them a match and said they’re telling Orton and Riddle they’re facing them at WrestleMania.

    Orton took exception as no one’s ever told him what to do in the ring and told them to turn and leave, otherwise he’ll listen to the voices in his head and make them leave.

    Riddle placated them and tried to talk Orton into accepting their challenge. Orton then accepted their challenge, and Ford thanked Riddle for talking sense into Orton and threw shade at Orton for his party.

    Riddle got in Ford’s face at the insult and demanded a match and Dawkins accepted.

    Riddle has the initial edge, but Ford stomped on Riddle’s foot, then hit a shoulder block and went for a moonsault but Riddle caught him in a triangle.

    Ford rolled him over for a pin attempt to break the hold.

    Riddle went on the offensive with a couple of gut wrench suplexes but Ford fought back and sent Riddle to the floor with a clothesline, then hit a clothesline off the ring steps as we headed to commercial.

    They continued trading the edge as Ford was in control, but Riddle fought back with a powerslam and a draping DDT like Orton, then went for an RKP.

    Ford pushed him off and hit a step up kick, but Riddle hit an RKO to buy time. Otis attacked Orton outside the ring, and Chad Gable took out Dawkins.

    Otis then pulled Riddle out and drive him into the barricade to give RK-Bro the DQ win before they hit a double team on Dawkins, and Otis nailed a Vader Bomb on Ford and Gable followed it with a moonsault.

    A video tribute to Scott Hall followed. We’re a little irritated it took anyone until the last half hour to mention his name, but it was worth the wait and the fans chanted “Razor”.

    Kevin Owens vs. Seth Rollins

    This should be a good one as the winner will host a talk show featuring “Stone Cold” Steve Austin at WrestleMania.

    Rollins went for a rollup right away, and Owens went for a stunner but Rollins slipped free and they started arguing over who deserved to go.

    Rollins went after him with knees and strikes and hammered Owens down, then Owens returned the favor when Rollins stared at the WrestleMania sign.

    Rollins gained the upper hand with a knee to the back and a knee drop for a pin attempt, and Owens rolled to the floor.

    Owens caught him on the apron and took out his leg, then worked on his left leg by slamming it into the barricade and then working it over in the ring.

    Owens went for a piledriver on the apron and Rollins countered into a backdrop, and then he went for a dive but Owens caught him and hit a fallaway slam into the barricade as we headed to commercial.

    Back from the break, Owens hit a couple of DDT for a near pinfall, and he started to grow frustrated. Owens then hit a cannonball for another pin attempt.

    Rollins fought back and had no problem running or leaping over Owens despite a hurt knee, and then hit a leaping knee off the top rope.

    Rollins hit a dive through the ropes on one side of the ring, and then another that sent Owens over the announce table.

    Owens barely made it into the ring to eat a superkick and Rollins followed it with a frog splash for a near pinfall.

    After exchanging attempts off the top rope, Rollins shoved Owens into the corner to avoid the stunner but the ref was out of position so Owens kicked out.

    Rollins then went for a Stomp, but Owens dodged it and hit a stunner for the win.

    After the match, Rollins started at the WrestleMania sign crestfallen. The only thing missing here was Austin’s music starting and him coming out and stunning Owens.

    This was a great match and ending to the show, and we’re beyond happy to see Owens pay so many homages to Scott Hall throughout the night.
