Hello and welcome to WWE Smackdown Results!
Tonight looks like it’s going to be a fun one as we’re one week away from WrestleMania 38. There should be plenty of action and promos to build on last week’s events.
Without further ado, let’s get to the action.
The show started with Brock Lesnar waiting outside Roman Reigns’ locker room when Kayla Braxton approached him.
He said he’s not supposed to have contact with Reigns unless he’s provoked, so he’s going to hang out in his locker room to provoke him.

He commented that the condo sized room wasn’t as good as his, but it’s not bad. He took a seat on Reigns’ sofa and propped his feet up, breaking the table as he did.
Shinsuke Nakamura w/Rick Boogs vs. Jimmy Uso w/Jey Uso
A brawl erupted as soon as the Usos hit the ring and Nakamura and Boogs chased them to the floor as we headed for commercial.
Once the match started, Jimmy gained the upper hand thanks to a shoulderblock and wristlock.

Nakamura turned the tables and bounced Jimmy off one turnbuckle and then another as the took him on a tour of the ring, but Jimmy caught him with a clothesline to take back momentum.
He followed it with a belly to back suplex for a pin attempt. He then sent Nakamura to the floor with a kick, but ran into a knee as we headed to commercial.
Nakamura took over in the ring and Jey took out Boogs from behind to distract Nakamura. Jimmy used the advantage to hit a superkick for a near pinfall.
Boogs threw Jey into the ring post on the floor while Nakamura hit a Kinsasha on Jimmy for the win.
Shad Gaspard to be honored with Warrior Award
The WWE officially announced that Shad Gaspard will be honored with the Warrior Award for his efforts to save his son from drowning.
A promo by Drew McIntyre followed where he promised to humiliate Happy Corbin at WrestleMania, and it was followed by a video promo about Happy Corbin’s rise from the ditches.

Kofi came out and said they didn’t mean the match was with him when they said New Day (no one did), but with King Woods.
It’s great to see Woods back in action.
To add insult to the bait and switch injury, Michael Cole didn’t realize Woods was wrestling instead of Kofi despite Kofi pointed that out.
Ridge hit a shoulder block to Woods’ legs and gloated, so Woods rolled him up for the win.
Reigns cut a promo from his limo and told Lesnar to get out of his locker room by the time he gets there or he’ll bust him open again.
