WWE Smackdown Results returned as Drew McIntyre headed to the ring to set up his match with Madcap Moss tomorrow.

He started off saying how he’s got to live in some cool places and he used to live in a neighboring town in 2010 when the Saints won the Super Bowl.

He shared a funny story about that night, and said he reflected on his career and how it almost ended thanks to Moss and Corbin’s attack.

    “The biggest mistake you made was coming after @DMcIntyreWWE!” @MadcapMoss @BaronCorbinWWE #WWEChamber #SmackDown pic.twitter.com/hrP36gg7SL

    — WWE (@WWE) February 19, 2022

He then explained this is personal and he can do anything he wants to Madcap and asked WWE Universe for some ideas for what he can do through #MadcapMauling.

Happy Corbin came out and derided McIntyre for not being a good role model for Scottish kids.

Moss then added that he’s great at using his environment, and he and Corbin will be laughing all the way home.

McIntyre pointed out that while joining Corbin was a bad idea, his worst was coming after him and at Elimination Chamber will be the Night Laughter Dies.

Intercontinental Championship – Shinsuke Nakamura (c) vs. Sami Zayn

The WWE Spoiled the ending of this match last week on their website, but we expect it to be a fun one.

Zayn played mind games early on by going into the ropes to Nakamura had to back off. He hammered away on Nakamura, but Nakamura came back strong and nailed Zayn with a series of kicks and knees.

Nakamura continued to work on Zayn with knees on the apron, but missed a knee drop to the floor as we headed to commercial.

Zayn hammered away with cross face blows, then locked in a rear chin lock to wear Nakamura down. Zayn hit an elbow drop and attempted three quick pin attempts.

Nakamura rolled through an attack and slapped on an armbar, but Zayn forced him to break it, so he went back to strikes and kicks.

Zayn caught Nakamura coming off the ropes and hit a Mishinoku Driver for a near pinfall, and Nakamura rolled to the floor. Zayn followed him out and ran into a kick.

Zayn sidestepped a Kinsasha attempt on the floor, and Nakamura hit his injured knee on the ring steps as we headed to another commercial.

Nakamura tried to take back control, but Zayn hit with a dropkick to his knee and then a Blue Thunder Bomb for a near pinfall.

Nakamura went for a kinsasha to close the deal, but Zayn rolled to the floor, and he slammed Nakamura’s injured leg into the ring post several times.

Then in the ring, he blocked Nakamura’s kick and kicked Nakamura’s injured leg and rolled him up for the win and his third Intercontinental championship.

Goldberg’s next for the Universal Championship

Roman Reigns headed to the ring with promotions for Raw matches at Elimination Chamber played.

Once he was in the ring and ready, Reigns took the microphone and demanded New Orleans acknowledge him and they did after they soundly booed his entrance.

He then handed the mic to Heyman to celebrate him, and Heyman explained how this is the best part of his day as it’s spiritually orgasmic to be this close to Reigns.

“When it comes to the Universal Championship, I’M NEXT!” @Goldberg is ready to face @WWERomanReigns at #WWEChamber! #SmackDown pic.twitter.com/I8J7d0tO9n

    — WWE (@WWE) February 19, 2022

He then compared Reigns to Michael Jordan, Wayne Gretzky, and Tom Brady in their primes while mocking Drew Brees because he played for the Saints.

After Heyman finished, Goldberg came out for his say.

Reigns was going to give him one last chance to acknowledge him and Goldberg walked up to him instead to chants of “Goldberg!”

Reigns told him not to crowd him and that he runs things, so Goldberg needed to speak his intentions.

Goldberg said tomorrow at 12 o’clock, then apologized for being wrong. Reigns isn’t next as when it comes to the Universal Championship he’s next.

This was a very weak ending in WWE Smackdown Results’ opinion. To be fair, we didn’t expect much more but it ended a decent show on a weak note.

What did you think about the ending and show overall? Let us know in the comments below and thank you for joining us tonight. We had a blast and can’t wait for next week.
