It appears that there was more to Memphis Sandoval leaving the 90 Day Fiancé tell-all–and doing so in an explosive fashion!
’90 Day Fiancé’ Spoilers: Leaked Video Shows Memphis LASHING OUT At TLC Producer and Cameraman After Nursing Baby During Tell-All
Initially, Memphis’ exit was over her feeling ill. With the recently leaked video, we’ve got a better idea as to why she left but it raises more questions and criticism about the volatile TLC star.
In the video obtained by 90 Day Fiancé blogger @merrypants, she is shown shouting at the producers because a camera operator stood in the doorway filming her breastfeeding after a producer apparently left the door open.
After tearing into the production crew, a woman—part of the production crew—attempted to explain that they were concerned about her. She said that she was sent to check up on Memphis and to see if she would’ve been fine with the camera if she felt better.
The crew member said she didn’t want to bother her while she was nursing. There was an attempt to reassure Memphis that the breastfeeding footage wouldn’t be used but she wasn’t having it. She told the producer:
“That’s not the point. The point is it shows you guys’ integrity and you don’t have any.”
Memphis went on to tell them that her privacy was violated. The production team admitted that they had violated her privacy and apologized. This footage is pretty much the missing link between Memphis and Hamza appearing on the tell-all and her leaving following the break.
Was The Blow-Up Too Much?
On social media, fans of 90 Day Fiancé have pretty much gotten on Memphis’ case about the meltdown and for the most part, they’re right. She went too hard over a mistake but the reason for her anger was valid.
However, she could’ve told the cameraman to beat it and they would’ve likely left the room to not escalate things. That is unless the contract allows them to film women breastfeeding? TLC is a network that started out as more docu-series-based before going in the natural direction of reality TV.
As long as it’s presented tastefully, breastfeeding is generally fine on the network when it is featured. It’s not like the cameraman caught Memphis smoking a Virginia Slim then hitting a flask of alcohol while nursing.
That would’ve been distasteful, unflattering, and put Memphis in the hottest of hot water. We’re talking “the government took my baby” hot water. However, that wasn’t the case here.
With that said, the door should’ve definitely been closed while she was nursing and the cameraman should’ve asked to come in. Better yet, catch the producer before they leave the room and ask them to close the door–or she could’ve closed it herself. I’m sure neither the producer or Memphis were prohibited by TLC from closing doors.
There were very simple solutions that could’ve prevented this blow-up.
Also, if someone is cast on a reality TV show which tends to flirt with being soft-intrusive—they can only expect so much privacy. I mean, they know what they’re getting into. Reality TV wasn’t invented late last year or something.
There was also the issue of Memphis shouting with a migraine while a baby is crying in the room which rubbed viewers the wrong way. I get someone being angry at their privacy being violated in an intimate moment between mother and child but the shouting over a crying baby was a little much.
