During the show, Mike got married to Natalie Mordovtseva, Although the two had many differences like Mike’s preference of meat as opposed to Natalie’s love for vegetables, they however tried to make it work and eventually got married; even after Natalie broke up with Mike when she stated that he cheated on her.

It appears that the couple were able to cross every hurdle they were faced with, except one—Mike’s mother. After the couple were married, they could not keep it together for more than six months because Natalie felt like Mike’s mother—Trist Youngquist disturbed relationship with her husband.

Trist has also made it clear, on several occasions, that she does not accept Natalie as her son’s wife. When Mike and Natalie visited Trist for Homecoming, she called Natalie a hater. She also didn’t appreciate Natalie’s career plans; these actions look like they have contributed to Natalie’s decision to leave Mike.
As to what has been happening with Mike and Natalie since they both separated? ET has said the next episode of 90 Day Fiancé will let viewers know. However, in the preview clip of the next episode, Mike reveals that he has a “new roomie,” and behold, it was his mother, Trist left Oklahoma to come stay with Mike and help him out on his ranch. Mike mentioned that he would have rules in place, however he knew his mother was happy to see him “headed in the right direction.”
While it is expected that Natalie would come up in their discussions, what is not expected is how Trist brings the subject up. While Mother and son were out for dinner, Trist asked Mike if he has been seeing new people or if he had a girlfriend, even though he and Natalie are still together, legally. While Trist kept describing Natalie as a “scamming, lying and conniving snake, Mike didn’t stop defending Natalie. Mike’s actions have shown that he probably thinks there is still a way to make it work with Natalie.
