‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re all set to dive into some fun spoilery goodies.
It looks like there’s going to be some fun moments as mine fields are negotiated and a trap is set for Genoa City’s current rat.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Tuesday, April 12: Bait for Ashland
Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) made it a whole day or two before going back on his word to let Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) handle her mess, and now he’s got some planning to put into motion.
Since this is coming on the heels of Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) breaking into Adam Newman (Mark Grossman)’s computer, we think he didn’t plant anything.

In fact, he could’ve been onto Victoria’s set up and made it look like he was searching for evidence instead of planting it. So, if that didn’t work Victor will set his plan into motion.
We’re guessing it’ll involve buying Ashland off in some way to leave the company to prove he’s guilty or some other ploy to get him to admit what he did.
Ashland’s supposed to be on Victor’s level and we haven’t a hint of that until recently, and now would be a good time for him to flash those skills.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers still stand behind everything that was discovered was planted there by Ashland to make them look like fools when the real “evidence” comes out.

We’re in the final stretch for Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso)’s run on the show, and it looks like the end of his and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case)’s marriage are going to escalate pretty quickly.
At least, that’s our guess given how he’s been growing closer to Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan), and with her and Sharon’s history there’s plenty of animosity between them to ignite a world war.
And if Sharon’s feeling like she’s moving into her territory, which Chelsea is, then we expect this to be a fun exchange when Sharon defends her own.
We doubt it’ll be as good as her and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott)’s fight in the Newman stables, but it should be a good stepping stone.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Tuesday, April 12: Nikki puts Victoria in her place
Speaking of Nikki, the Newman matriarch will do her usually duty in defending Victor and trying to bring the family together when she sets the record straight with Victoria.
Of course, this is assuming we’re right about Victor taking the next step and messing up Victoria’s plans.
She won’t be happy that he won’t stay back and let her handle it, and Nikki will remind her that he’s doing this to protect her and not the company first.
It’ll be the typical Nikki to the rescue speech we’ve heard a thousand times, though we expect Nikki to sound more like an upset mother than considerate this time.
