Fans React To Harry And Meghan Driving Kids Cars At The Invictus Games-‘She Looks Terrified’
The pair, for their part, lent their support to the games on the back end of their visit to see Queen Elizabeth II. Harry has a connection having served in the British army during the war in Afghanistan, while Meghan was there to support her husband.
And yet, the following picture seems out of sync with those intentions. In the pictures here, we can see Harry and Meghan riding some toy four-by-four vehicles while having two children being the respective drivers.
Harry won the race and was thrilled to win as he threw his hands in the air. This was all part of the first event that was held to test the military personnel in seeing their teamwork.
And in order to show support for them, Harry and Meghan decided to get in on the act. Despite their enthusiasm, the couple received a mixed response on social media.
A certain subset of people felt that they had only done this in order to generate publicity. After all, reports emerged that a Netflix crew would be accompanying Meghan so that the event could be documented.
However, in the process of doing that, it backfired as people compared their lack of seriousness to Prince William and Kate Middleton’s grace in their public outings. One person wrote: “She [Meghan] looks terrified.”
Meanwhile, others were of the view that the couple had acted very down to earth in not caring what others had to say about them supporting the cause.
Another fan wrote: “It’s so lovely to see them both again, I hope they enjoy their time at the Invictus Games.” It is not probably Harry and Meghan’s finest moment.
But they will not be caring too much, as they did manage to support a good cause. And that is the most important thing to remember going forward, regardless of what others might have to say about it.
