The Countdown to Rebellion opened with fans chanting “Impact Wrestling” to help set the stage.
Countdown to Rebellion – Eddie Edwards vs. Chris Bey
Jonathan Gresham wasn’t medically cleared to defend the ROH title against Edwards, so Bey was plugged in to take his place.
This is going to be a good one.
Bey got the upper hand on their first lockup with an arm drag, then offered a test of strength that went no more as Bey tagged him on the forehead.
Edwards responded with a kick and shoulder block off the ropes, and Bey took him down with a les scissors before being chopped down.

Edwards caught Bey’s somersault to hit an inverted atomic drop and a belly to belly suplex before going to work on Bey with headbutts and chops.
Bey sent him to the floor with a serious of kicks and hit a swanton over the top rope. Edwards responded with a poke to the eyes and a running knee for a pin attempt.
Bey kept fighting back with elbows and kicks, then hit a diving lariat off the top rope and a Pele kick for a pin attempt.
Edwards popped him up and went for a Tiger Driver, but Bey reversed it into a rollup for a near pinfall. But Edwards maneuvered Bey into a Backpack stunner for a near pinfall.
Following a back and forth, Bey hit a cutter off the ropes to counter a Blue Thunder Bomb for a near pinfall.
Bey missed an Art of Finesse, and Edwards hit a Tiger Driver for a pin attempt, then another for the win.
Countdown to Rebellion – Knockouts Tag Team Championship – The Influence (Tenille Dashwood, Madison Rayne) (c) vs. The IInfluence (Jessie Lee, Cassie McKay)
Rayne and Dashwood attacked the IInspiration before the bell rang, but they quickly fought back and as the bell rang they double teamed Rayne before Jessie got out of the ring.
Dashwood tagged in and took it to Cassie and hung her up in her corner and stomped away.
Rayne followed it with a Northern Lights suplex for a pin attempt, then she tried another couple of pin attempts.

Cassie kicking out continued to frustrate her, and Dashwood came in and Cassie went for a crucifix rollup for a pin attempt and Dashwood responded with a backslide attempt.
Jessie came in and took on both Members of the Influence and threw them into each other for a double splash and kick for a near pinfall on Rayne.
Dashwood hit a crossbody on both opponents and the a Spotlight Kick on Cassie for a near pinfall.
Dashwood tried to use a title belt on Cassie, but Cassie ducked and hit a kick for a near pinfall.
Rayne hit a spear on Cassie, and then they hit the Collab on Jessie for the win.
