Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reportedly set to attend Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz’s wedding this weekend on Saturday, 9th April 2022.
Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Could Attend Brooklyn Beckham’s Wedding-‘Not Worried About Tight Security While Attending This Celebrity Bash, Huh’
According to reports, the pair are set to make their way to Florida in order to show their support. Harry and Meghan are after all very close to Brooklyn’s parents David and Victoria Beckham.
The latter duo had also attended Harry and Meghan’s wedding in 2018. And after having built such a close relationship, the Beckhams can count on the pair to be there for Brooklyn’s biggest day, just as David had shown support to Harry when he became a father for the first time following Archie’s birth.
In a prior interview with ET Online, David said: “We love him and he’s an amazing person – and that’s the most important thing.
“But I’m proud to see him growing up as an individual and being that person that every father wants to be.” This is obviously not going to go down well in light of Harry and Meghan’s recent actions.
The former, in particular, will come under scrutiny especially since he had skipped Prince Philip’s memorial. Although this was initially justified on the basis of Harry’s security concerns, surely having the UK police protect him would have been adequate.
This is particularly true, given that the Beckhams had recently seen their home targeted in a burglary just last month. And yet, Harry has no qualms about visiting another Beckham residence.
A social media user confirmed as much: “I guess they’re not worried about tight security while attending this celebrity bash, huh?”
Secondly, Harry had missed another crucial landmark just last year. He had failed to turn up to Queen Elizabeth’s birthday, despite there being numerous concerns over her health.
And by disregarding his family at the expense of other commitments, he is not doing himself any favors. Lastly, in any event, this is another attempt at the couple to expand their brand by crossing over into the celebrity world.
The Beckhams have built a brand that is reported to be worth a billion dollars. And by being close to the Beckham family, whether that is intentional or not, it will only go on to reinforce their new-found ‘celebrity status.’ So there you have it folks.
