The star of ‘The Real Housewives of New Jersey’ sent widespread concern amongst the fanbase after she was pictured wearing a mask, while lying in a hospital bed.
And given that none of the family members had opened up about the exact reason as to why Teresa was in hospital, it understandably left many people feeling concerned.
That is why Dolores wanted to set the record straight, and let the fans know that Teresa did require some medical intervention. In an interview with E! News, Dolores said: “She had her appendix out.
“Now it just takes time to heal. But it was emergency surgery so she’s in a lot of pain.” This may explain why Teresa has decided to stay fairly quiet in and amongst all of this.
It is clear that she will need some time to recuperate after what was a ‘medical emergency’ at the time. And Dolores hinted as much when she revealed that she had spoken to the star, who by all accounts, was not in a very good place.
Dolores added: “She’s not feeling good at all. It’s bad. She’s in a tremendous amount of pain.” The response on social media was mixed. A certain subset of people wished Teresa all the best in her recovery.
Meanwhile, a small minority of people believed that there was a link between Teresa feeling unwell and the Covid-19 jab. So much so that they stressed Teresa may have had an adverse reaction.
One person wrote: “Another one suffering from [an] adverse jab reaction – appendicitis is a common effect but it won’t solve the real health problem … I wish her the best in trying to recover but adverse effects linger on.”
