Will Blac Chyna’s Case Against The Kardashians And Jenners Damage Their Reputation?
That is according to several brand experts. The case has been centred around claims by Blac, who has accused the Kardashians/Jenners of using their influence in order to get her show ‘Rob and Chyna’ canceled.
And as part of that process, she is demanding $100 million in order to settle the dispute as a result of future loss of earnings. But just as legal cases turn out to be, they often result in either side dropping major bombshells. And this was no exception.
Kris Jenner has accused Blac of trying to kill Kylie Jenner, while Blac has backtracked on her previous comments in which she admitted to pointing a gun at Rob Kardashian’s head, only to then state that the gun was unloaded and done as a joke.
And with so much on the line, the outcome of the case could define the reputation of a given family.
Eric Schiffer, who happens to be the chairman of Reputation Management Consultants, had this to say: “There is a risk that the Kardashians’ famous last name might hurt them.
“With some jury members who believe the Kardashians’ star power and influence could have easily and effectively been employed to carnage Chyna’s reality TV career.” Nevertheless, not everybody sees it that way.
This is primarily due to the fact that Blac and her family have not conducted themselves in a very good manner. Blac’s retraction of her comments will only work against her, as the courts may question the credibility of her future statements.
Not only that, but Blac’s mother Tokyo Toni was involved in some controversy after she was allegedly accused of stating that she was intending to ‘take out’ the judge, which she has denied.
Evan Nierman, the CEO of Red Banyan, stated: “It’s highly likely that the jurors will come to the trial with some preconceived notions about the Kardashian name.
