Kylie Jenner has publicly denied the rumors that she and Hailey Bieber made derogatory remarks about Selena Gomez’s eyebrows.
Kylie Jenner Denies Mocking Selena Gomez’s Eyebrows-‘It’s Not My Character’
On Tuesday, 21st February 2023, Hailey and Jenner caused a lot of chatter after they shared an image of their FaceTime call, focusing on their eyebrows.
This post came shortly after Selena had stated that she ‘lamented’ her eyebrows. That led to suggestions that the two were bullying Selena. One person wrote: “Kylie and Hailey are giving high school vibes.”
This may have been due to the following reasons. First of all, Hailey and Selena do have some history. Following Hailey’s relationship with Justin Bieber, rumours emerged that she had gotten with Justin while he was still with Selena.
While that may have been the case, Hailey denied doing anything of the sort. In her comments at the time, she remarked: “It’s not my character to mess with someone’s relationship.
“I would just never do that. I was raised better than that. Like, I can say, period, point-blank, I was never with him when he was in a relationship with anybody.”
Secondly, the timing of the incident may have made fans conflate the two incidents to assume that they were connected, rather than it being a possible coincidence. Regardless of what the case may be, it seems that things have now been sorted.
Kylie downplayed suggestions that there was any bad blood towards Selena. And she hit back at those who were trying to stir up any trouble in response.
In her comments, Kylie said: “U guys are making something out of nothing.” And Selena removed any doubt that there was any malice with her reply: “Agreed. It’s all unnecessary. I’m a fan of Kylie.”
