Since making his way to WWE, Nathan Frazer had a simple goal. He wanted to expand on what he learned from Seth Rollins at the Black & Brave Wrestling Academy, and took time to learn the UK style by working for NXT UK. Now, he’s making his return to the United States – and is ready to take NXT 2.0 by storm.
Nathan Frazer Is A Human Missile – NXT Women’s Breakout Tournament Announced
Grayson Waller would take out the potential opponent of Frazer, before telling him that no one cares about his debut tonight. This is his show, and Waller does whatever he wants whenever he wants. Andre Chase would make his way to the ring to help shut up Waller, before Frazer dove into the ring with a dropkick.
He’d send Waller to the outside and nail a massive sucide dive – and Andre Chase declared this as a teachable moment. After this, we’d hear about the upcoming NXT Women’s Breakout Tournament. This is a new tournament for WWE, and it will begin in two weeks. We saw a mens version in 2021, with Carmelo Hayes coming out the victor.
Katana Chance & Kayden Carter Remain One Of The Best Tag Teams In NXT
Katana Chance & Kayden Carter are one of the most tenured tag teams in the NXT Tag Team division, and tonight will face a team who is still trying to make their name. Valentina Feroz & Yulisa Leon didn’t make it past the first round of the 2022 Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. Tonight, they have a chance to make a name for themselves as they take on Chance & Carter.
Carter would kick things off alongside Leon, and would gain some early control before Feroz for the tag and hit a running hurricanrana. Heading to the outside, Carter would bait Feroz in following her, before regaining control in the ring. Chance would hit the ring for a standing 180 splash, before hitting a double team kick alongside Carter.
Leon would look for a tag, before Carter carried Feroz across the ring and slammed her down to set up a floating senton by Chance. Feroz would get the tag, before Leon would press slam her right onto Chance. Chance was taken off the apron following a tag to Carter – before Leon & Feroz would set up a stalling lionsault. Carter would avoid, and Chance found her way back to the apron for the neckbreaker 450 splash finisher.
