Hello and welcome to WWE Raw Results!
Post-WrestleMania Raw is always a fun one as we begin a new year towards the ultimate show, and tonight’s going to be a fun one of introductions, reveling, and inciting others, so let’s dive into the action!
After a recap of WrestleMania 38, the fans chanted for Cody Rhodes and he came out and stood on the ramp for a minute soaking it in before heading to the ring to a crowd that wasn’t as loud as we’d expect.
He started saying it’s been 47 days since he became a free agent and said he’s been reading all the theories before saying it wasn’t a hard decision to come to the WWE.
He dropped a reference to his old character Stardust and he started talking about his lineage and the image of Dusty Rhodes on the titantron got a louder pop.

He broke down talking about how Dusty was his hero. When he recalled how he didn’t know Dusty was a champion like Hogan, and Dusty explained he won by count out and didn’t get the belt he broke down again.
He continued to go from crying to not like a faucet as he explained he’s intent on winning the championship belt. He questioned if the opportunity to win the title really passed when he can win it.
He promised to win the title for everyone from the fans to Dusty Rhodes. Guess he shouldn’t have booked himself out of the AEW title?
Seth Rollins came out to continue their feud.
Once Rollins was in the ring, Cody dropped the mic and offered his hand and Rollins shook it before leaving the ring.

They then took turns taking each other out with flips and crossbodies on the floor and Naomi went for a pin attempt on Ripley as we headed to commercial.
Banks and Liv squared off with Banks hitting a couple of knees and a meterora in the corner, and then a meteora off the top rope for a near pinfall.
Ripley tagged in to his an assisted powerbomb by Liv for a near pinfall.
Naomi tagged in and she held Liv for a rolling jawbreaker for the win.
After the match, Ripley walked out of the ring and left Liv there.
Elias returns as Ezekiel
Kevin Owens headed to the ring and admitted he made a mistake when he tricked Steve Austin into a match and admitted Austin is still great, because only a great can beat Owens. He’s now one of the best ever.

He claimed he hurt his back before the event but he toughed it out because the WWE Universe needed him.
Elias came out clean shaven as a new gimmick Ezekiel and claimed he’s not Elias. He claims to be Elias’ younger brother but Owens wasn’t buying it.
Ezekiel called him out for lying to Austin and getting stunned, and Owens proclaimed he doesn’t like him and never did.
Owens gave him 10 seconds to get out of his ring or else, and counted down. Owens left instead.
