Bethenny Frankel has given her take on the ongoing defamation trial between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard and she referred to Heard as “the craziest woman that’s walked this planet.”
During a recent episode of the ‘Just B with Bethenny Frankel’ podcast, the ‘Real Housewives of New York City’ alum revealed that although she’s siding with Depp, she’s only doing so because Amber Heard is so astronomically crazy in comparison.

“Johnny Depp looks like a hero only in a relationship with Amber Heard,” explained Bethenny, before suggesting that the actor “is gonna be f–king anointed Gandhi and the pope” because of what he had to deal with during his marriage to Heard.
“He’s been vindicated because in the relationship of s–t in the bed, MDMA, cocaine, some level of domestic violence and f–king crazy town, he’s the hero. I don’t know what story that is. He’s the hero and she’s the villain” said Bethenny, before clarifying that all of the drama between both Depp and Heard is “all 50 shades of garbage.”
“Any other person in the world in a relationship with Johnny Depp and he looks like a crazy person. Johnny Depp picked the one person to marry, in this world, that could make him look like a saint,” quipped Bethenny.
She was also quick to point out that by choosing Amber Heard as his significant other, Johnny Depp willingly created a toxic environment for himself. “You were in a relationship with a f–king crazy person. Like, that means you’re part of it. … If you’re sane, you can’t be around crazy that godd–n long. I don’t talk about cocaine, feces, and MDMA in my relationship that often,” she noted.
Bethenny, who is no stranger to lengthy court battles, did admit that she can see why Depp would sue Amber for defamation in such a public way, saying, “I’m sure he’s a hero now because of this association, but he’s a f–king s–tshow, to. By the same token, I understand why he had to go to court, [he] had to take this thing to the mats. He had to prove this thing.”
Johnny Depp is suing Amber Heard to the tune of $50 million after she penned a 2018 op-ed in the Washington Post where she implied that she was the victim of domestic violence at the hands of Depp. Heard is countersuing for $100 million. The trial has proven to be a real-life circus as the masses watch the former lovers spar over who was the more abusive partner in their relationship.
