As you are already aware, Trump receives a ban on Twitter back in January 2021. This fuels him to start his own social media company ‘Truth Social’ where he continues to spread his thoughts.
Trump, always being one who does not miss on the newest world happenings reads about Elon’s Twitter saga. Moreover, he reads about his tweets where he exposes his political views and confesses about his past voting.
Trump Accuses Elon Musk Of Illegal Takeover Of ‘Fake Twitter’ – Surprised He Only Voted Democrat Until Now
In a recent post Elon tweets – “In the past, I voted Democrat, because they were (mostly) the kindness party. But they have become the party of division & hate, so I can no longer support them and will vote Republican.”
This struck the former President Donald Trump like an arrow. He feels like he is subject to lies and manipulations by Elon in the past. He even had him as a business counselor for some time. So, he decides to express his disappointment via Truth Social.
“Gee, Elon Musk never told me that until now he only voted for Democrats. Actually, it was quite the contrary.” Trump says. “but now it seems, with all of his problems with a probably illegal purchase of a crummy phony account loaded company, Fake Twitter, he wants to be a Republican because the Dems are a ‘Party of hate.”
“’I could have told him that a long time ago, but actually they are a Party of sickness, greed, corruption & absolute horrible policy.” Trump adds “Good luck Elon, have fun!!!”
As we would expect, Trump did not give any information that he allegedly has on the ‘illegal’ purchase. However, he did make the claim public.
Musk did try to persuade Trump to get back on Twitter. He offers this once he sets foot as the owner of the company. But this is not met with such enthusiasm by the former President. Quite on the contrary, he reveals that he is not planning to get on any social media except his own, Truth Social.
Another important point that Trump notes while he is being pursued to return to Twitter is that now, his social media platform Truth is representing a direct competition to Elon’s Twitter. All of this is due to the free speech and liberty that Trump gave to its users from the beginning. Making him a pioneer in the free speech fight.
Even though Trump may allow expressing thoughts more freely on Truth Social, it seems that he is far from reaching the popularity and publicity that Twitter has. In order to step up his game and be a serious competitor in this game, he needs to start looking to invest some serious money in the application. And even then, success is not a guarantee.
