Impact Wrestling Under Siege are set to close out the night with two of the best matches of the night, so let’s get to the fun!
As soon as VBD stepped into the ring the Briscoes went after them and the action spilled to the floor. The Briscoes laid waste to them while Doering stood on the ramp watching.
Deoring made a throat slice motion and came into the ring and took some good shots from the Briscoes so Deaner and Young could attack them from behind.
Once it was somewhat settled, Mark and Young started the official match off, and Deaner tagged in to get some shots in on Mark.
Jay blind tagged in and dropped Deaner with a clothesline and then beat him down with a headbutt and some stomps.
Mark came in to his a suplex for a pin attempt, and then he and Deaner traded chops and slaps as Jay tagged in.
Mark took Young out with a flip over the top rope, and Jay gave Deaner some of the same on the other side of the ring.

Young distracted the ref so Doering shoved Jay off the top rope and Deaner dug into Jay’s face. A double boot by Young and Deaner led to a pin attempt on Jay.
While Deaner had the ref’s attention, Doering slammed Jay into the ring apron to give VBD more of an advantage.

After breaking up a double team by VBD. The Briscoes hit a Doomsday Device to win.
Congratulations champs!
Sami Callihan spoils Moose’s hijacking
After the match, Moose’s music played and interrupted Mathew Rehwoldt on commentary and he came out to the ring.
Moose said he did a lot of terrible things, but he has no remorse as they made him the greatest world champion in all of professional wrestling.
He called out Impact and fans for repaying him with disrespect for Josh Alexander being given 6 and a half months to prepare for him, but he was only given 5 days.
He claimed Josh Alexander won’t defend his title because he just hijacked the show and D’Amore has 30 seconds to respond before he does horrible things to the people there.
The lights went dark and the coming feature preview for Sami Callihan planted and when the lights came on he was in the ring with baseball bat in hand.
He ducked Moose’s right and nailed him with the bat, and hit a piledriver.
World Championship – Josh Alexander (c) vs. Tomohiro Ishii
Their first couple of lockups were draws, but Ishii looked to control Josh’s with an armbar, and they collided with a series of shoulder blocks.
Josh hit a pair of arm drags, and Ishii ran him over with a shoulder and then started chopping down Josh.
Josh returned the favor before they jockeyed for position to suplex each other, with Ishii finally hitting one.
They traded chops in the corner until Ishii had enough and hammered Josh down. After Josh played some gamesmanship, Ishii hit him in the throat and continued the assault.
After hitting Ishii with some chops to his throat area, Josh hit three German Suplexes with the third ending with a bridge for a pin attempt.
Josh hit a rolling senton and a knee to the back of the neck from the middle rope for a near pinfall.

Josh tried to keep rolling, but Ishii hit a powerslam off the ropes to buy some time, and then they traded blows once more.
Josh countered a kick into an ankle lock, the Ishii countered out of it for his own ankle lock and then a knee bar.
Josh got free and locked in an ankle lock and dropped to the mat, but Ishii rolled them into the ropes to break the hold.
So close!
Ishii breaking the hold fired Josh up ad he went for the C-4 Spike, and then a powerbombed but his ankle gave out.
Ishii reversed another C-4 Spike attempt with a backdrop, and they traded clotheslines and Josh hit a spinning slam for a near pinfall.
Ishii fired up and they two traded clotheslines, knocking each other out.
Ishii hit a pair of clotheslines for a pin attempt, and Ishii went for a brainbuster but Josh slipped free and went for a small package for a near pinfall.
Josh then hit a powerbomb backbreaker, but missed a followup moonsault.
After an exchange, Josh hit a powerbomb and a C-4 Spike for the win.
This was as hard hitting a match as we’ve seen in a while, though it felt like it could’ve been slightly shorter.
It was still an awesome match and Josh’s most difficult challenge to date.
