Kate Middleton has been called out by Meghan Markle fans over her hypocrisy towards speaking out about mental health.

This arrives on the back end of Kate being declared as a Royal patron for the Maternal Mental Health Alliance. This organisation is a charity that prides itself on providing care for those who have experienced mental health issues during and after pregnancy.
And given that Kate has three children, she understands the difficulties that mothers can experience when it comes to dealing with everything that happens post pregnancy.
In her comments, Kate said: “No one is immune…It is crucial, therefore, that all those who might be struggling are given the right support at the right time.”
Much in the same way, Meghan understood what those struggles meant. After all, she did have her fair share of struggles in the Royal family.
During the course of her controversial interview with Oprah Winfrey, Meghan expanded on how her mental health began to suffer dramatically.
So much so that she reached a point where she was having suicidal thoughts. Although she did not act upon them, the very fact of the matter is that it was enough for her to leave the Royal family.
In her comments at the time, she remarked: “I went to the institution, and I said that I needed to go somewhere to get help, that I’ve never felt this way before, that I needed to go somewhere.
“And I was told that I couldn’t, that it wouldn’t be good for the institution.” These comments were immediately picked up by supporters of Meghan, who felt that Kate was failing to show consistency when it came to her words.
One person wrote: “Agreed Duchess Kate so when Meghan Markle was suicidal/needed mental health support during her pregnancy why didn’t she receive ANY from Royal Family?”
