The Duke And Duchess Of Cambridge Will Turn Up For Tom Gun: Maverick Premiere In The UK
The world premiere of Top Gun: Maverick was held in April 2022 at CinemaCon. However, it has been disclosed that the movie will officially be released in cinemas on May 27, 2022. Prince William and Kate Middleton are famous for turning up to several A-list premieres.
The royal couple were present at the premiere of the new James Bond movie, “No Time to Die,” in September 2021. Prince Charles and his spouse, Camilla, were other high-ranking royals that were also present at the high-profile event.
The Cambridges‘ presence at the A-list premiere comes after their two-day visit to Scotland. It is understood that the trip was organized in honour of the monarch’s 70th anniversary on the throne. The Cambridges looked in high spirits as they took selfies with several fans. One of the highlights of their trip was when Prince William shared a warm hug with William Burns, a 66-year-old pensioner, and took a picture with his wife, Ellen.
Reacting to William’s lovely gesture, Mr. Burns remarked, “I am a grandfather. It felt like a son hugging a father. It was the way he hugged me. I didn’t expect that, really, to be honest. It was a boost. I’ve never felt anything like it in my entire life before and my existence as a human.”
