Just when it seems like the narrative was settling down, conflicting reports on when Sasha Banks and Naomi walked out on WWE Raw come from two proven trustworthy sources.
For over the last week since the May 16 episode of Raw, Banks and Naomi have dominated the wrestling news cycle as the WWE has worked to put themselves as the aggrieved party and play to their core fanbase for sympathy.
Fans have pushed back to support the pair as more information has come out. Most agree that wrestlers should stand up for their characters and the women’s tag division, and that’s what Banks and Naomi were reportedly doing.
But while all of that has been argued and reported on constantly on social media, another aspect has come to light and it’s going to be interesting which is correct.

An individual that may be a friend of Naomi shared several facts that have been verified by others last week, has now come forward to say they left before the show even started:
“They were gone before the match sheet was printed, that’s around 5 p.m.
“But, let me hush.”
To add more weight to his claim, on Friday (May 20) Dave Meltzer said on Wrestling Observer Newsletter that the person is a legitimate friend of Naomi and Naomi follows him on Twitter.
There’s a legitimate argument about a friend’s point of view is it shows favoritism, but since his claims were corroborated by others previously he gets the benefit of the doubt from many.
The conflict came when the reliable Fightful Select reported that they were told they left at the start of the show:
“It was reiterated to us by numerous talent and staff that Sasha Banks and Naomi left during WWE Raw, at the start of the show.”
Like with the friend aspect, it can be argued that Fightful’s sources are pro WWE in this case or they may have agreed to tow the company line in case they’re found out.
At this point, there’s no way to tell which is right or if they’re both right, meaning Banks and Naomi left, returned, then left.
We’ll just have to wait to see how things work out and what Sasha Banks and Naomi have to say about what happened.
