There’s more drama with ‘Real Housewives of Orange County’ off-screen than there is on-screen! RHOC star Heather Dubrow admitted to having a falling out with her former friend Tamra Judge and went into detail about the state of their rocky relationship.
In a recent episode of her podcast ‘Heather Dubrow’s World,” Heather gave her account of what transpired between her and Tamra. “Tamra and I have always had a really good relationship and she and I were texting and fine and normal and then when she put up the picture of us at the reunion of us in our dresses and like scooped it. I texted her and I said, ‘Why did you post that?’ And I haven’t heard from her since,” she said. That seems harmless enough.
RHOC: Heather Dubrow Addresses Bad Blood With Former Friend Tamra Judge
Tamra ruffled Heather’s feathers when she said she was ‘Team Shannon’ discussing the divide between former co-star Shannon Beador and the rest of the women on RHOC’s current season. Tamra and Shannon were very close friends at one point and only to have the bitter end to their friendship play out on a past season of the show.
While Tamra is still not on speaking terms with Shannon, she let it be known that she does not support the other women ganging up on her during filming. Tamra also accused the current cast of RHOC of “being up Heather’s a–” and constantly are trying to appease her.
Tamra often comments on all things housewives on her podcast, “Two T’s in a Pod”, but Heather insists that she keeps using her name in a bid to “stay relevant”.
“She’s trying to stay relevant, and I mean that in a good way, build a brand, do this podcast, have a career, and I don’t begrudge any of that. And if part of doing a recap of our show is there, that’s fine,” Heather said. “What I don’t like is that if we’re friends… [Why] go negative on me? There’s just been a couple of things that I’ve heard that I’ve gone, ‘Why say that? Why do that?”
“I always felt like there was a basis of friendship there and mutual respect that when I see those clips in my feed, and people send me things, I feel like, ‘So is doing that podcast or whatever brand you’re building more important than that? I mean, I guess that’s the answer…my feelings are very hurt,” Heather shared.
RHOC has suffered from notably low ratings since Tamra Judge left the show, prompting many fans to call for her to reclaim her role on the cast. Fans remain hopeful that Tamra will be back for season 17, but Heather doesn’t see it happening.
“At this point, how would you have someone back who just talks about the show all the time? Once you become someone who talks about shows, especially a show you were on, how can you then go back to that show?” she said.
