Right now, Sasha Banks is in her latest championship reign – having claimed the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships alongside Naomi at WrestleMania 38. Since then, she’s not been making many headlines in WWE – but a feud against Shayna Baszler & Natalya could take them to a match at WWE WrestleMania Backlash. However, perhaps she could follow the moves of Natalya – and take a trip down to NXT 2.0.
Sasha Banks Praises Kayden Carter & Kacy Catanzaro From NXT 2.0
During a press conference in the UK, both Banks & Naomi would express interest in wanting to head down to NXT 2.0. They wouldn’t be out of place on the brand, with others like AJ Styles, Rey & Dominik Mysterio, Dolph Ziggler, & Viking Raiders also taking quick trips down to NXT. Banks has even previously made a small return to NXT – facing Io Shirai in 2020.
However, Banks is eyeing a tag team match with Kayden Carter & Katana Chance. Banks had the following to say about them – and a potential match.
“I really like Kayden and Kacy down there. They’ve been working really hard. I’ve trained with both of them at D-Von’s school. I love girls that want to do more. You have the Performance Center, which is crazy, amazing, but if you go outside of that and want to grow and keep on learning, I admire girls that keep on wanting to be their best. I’ve seen them work so hard for so long and would love the opportunity to go down there and tangle with them,”
Right now, NXT 2.0 has their own tag team champions in Toxic Attraction, with Gigi Dolin & Jacy Jayne in their second reign. In regards to them and Mandy Rose, Banks had a quick message for them.

Having main roster stars show up on NXT 2.0 has been a nice way to get some extra eyes on an often overlooked product in WWE. It’s likely to continue going further, making it possible for anyone to show up.
