WWE Smackdown Results returned as they welcomed and honored their Make-A-Wish special guest Giovanna who wants to meet Drew McIntyre. So awesome to see their support.

    Tag Team Unification Contract Signing

RK-Bro was already in the ring from before the commercial break and then the Usos were introduced.

Adam Pearce made it simple by saying four signatures are needed to make it official, and Jimmy took that opportunity to point out they don’t have to prove anything to anyone in the ring.

Riddle responded that he can’t tell the Usos apart, and Orton said he never had a problem with that, and called Jey the right hand man and Jimmy a little b—-.

Tensions are on the rise as The @WWEUsos and #RKBRO sign on the dotted line on #SmackDown! @RandyOrton @SuperKingofBros @WWERomanReigns @HeymanHustle @DMcIntyreWWE pic.twitter.com/c630cBHcKW

Jimmy dove across the table and threw it to the floor as they paired off in opposite corners. Riddle and Orton beat them down and Roman Reigns’ music played and he came out.

The Usos attacked Riddle and Orton from behind and Jimmy dropped Orton with a superkick, and they took out Riddle with a double team neckbreaker.

Reigns ripped up the contract and shoved it in Riddle’s mouth and then hammered away.

Drew McIntyre then came out and took out the Usos with ease, then climbed into the ring to start down Reigns.

They traded blow with Drew getting the advantage and hitting a belly to belly suplex and Reigns rolled out of the ring.

Backstage, Paul Heyman told Adam Pearce Reigns isn’t happy, and demanded the tag unification match become a 6 man tag match with McIntyre and Reigns added in.

Pearce refused, and Heyman threatened his career to get the match made.

Naomi w/Sasha Banks vs. Shayna Baszler w/Natalya

Drew Gulak’s the time keeper, so this will work out well for him.

Baszler took Naomi down with a couple of waist locks, and Naomi slipped free and hit a split legged splash for a pin attempt.

Naomi countered with a pair of kicks, and rolled Baszler into the turnbuckle and then rolled her up for the win.
Natalya attacked Naomi from behind and Banks came in to help. Natalya blocked her baseball slide and locked in a sharpshooter through the ropes as Baszler planted Naomi and then stomped Naomi’s arm.

At least Gulak didn’t get abused this week.

Ridge Holland w/Sheamus vs. Xavier Woods w/Kofi Kingston

Holland drove Woods into a corner and hammered away with uppercuts, then caught Wood’s crossbody attempt to hit a slam and knee drop.

Woods sent Holland to the floor and hit a tornado DDT as we headed to commercial.

Holland caught Woods’ knee with a shoulder, and then hit a series of elbows.

Holland was in control and picked Woods up, but Woods used the Back Woods once again to steal the win.

After the match, Sheamus told Holland he’ll show him how it’s done and challenged Kofi, and Kofi accepted.

The match started during the commercial break, and they spilled to the floor where Kofi hit a kick and back fall.

Sheamus countered an SOS with three of Irish Curse backbreakers. Kingston countered the Brogue Kick into the SOS for a near pinfall.

Sheamus hit his second attempt at a Brogue Kick for the win.

After the match, Holland attacked Woods from behind and Sheamus set up a table and Holland powerbombed Woods through it.

Lacey Evans continued her story by talking about her going into the military and her accomplishments and how they motivate her to prove herself.

Beat the Clock Challenge – Ronda Rousey vs. Shotzi

Flair came out to watch Ronda’s match and took her seat by the announcers.

Shotzi ducked out of the ring and gave Ronda a run, but Ronda caught her in the ropes. Shotzi missed her kick and Ronda hit hers, then Ronda planted her on the apron.

Ronda hit an exploder and rolled through to slap on an ankle lock for a time of 1:41.

Beat the Clock Challenge – Charlotte Flair vs. Aliyah

Flair dropped Aliyah and told her to quit several times without putting a hold on her, and Aliyah planted her face first, but she missed a crossbody.

Flair hit a big boot but Aliyah kicked Flair out of the ring when she went for the figure 8.

She locked in her next attempt, but it was too late.

Considering Flair wasn’t trying through most of it is no surprise. This was just bad.

    .@DrewGulak can’t catch a break from @MsCharlotteWWE on #SmackDown! pic.twitter.com/PafRSHZSYn

    — WWE (@WWE) April 30, 2022

After the match, Flair targeted Gulak and blame him, then hit a big boot and slapped him around before getting the bell as Gulak rolled into the ring. She nailed Gulak with the ring bell.

This is worse than Nia Jax putting Lana through tables every week. There’s absolutely no reason for this.

We can’t believe this was the night’s main event, but at least the rest of the show was decent.

What did you think of the ending? Let us know below and thank you for joining WWE Smackdown Results. We had a blast and can’t wait to see you all next week.
