Shanna Moakler always has a lot to say when it comes to her ex-husband Travis Barker, but her reaction to his recent nuptials to Kourtney Kardashian is rather surprising.
“I wish the happy couple a lovely marriage,” she said, before saying, “I will continue to only want the best for my children. It was a beautiful gesture to include my children in such a gorgeous affair.”

Shanna’s mature response may come as a shock because she’s had mostly negative things to say about the Kardashians in the past. Last year, a fan on Instagram left Shanna a comment that said, “That broad don’t got nothin’ on you. Travis downgraded big time,” in regards to his budding romance with Kourtney. Shanna “liked” the post, which indicates that she agreed with the fan’s assessment.
Shanna also once alleged that she caughter Travis having an “affair” with Kourtney’s sister Kim Kardashian in the early 2000’s before she became famous. When Shanna spotted Travis with Kim, she threw a drink at her in a fit of rage.
“I divorced my ex because I saw [him and Kim] — I caught them having an affair,” she claimed. “He had already had an affair with Paris Hilton. And … at the time Kim was Paris’ closet organizer, they were best friends.”
“We were working on our marriage and trying to heal through that affair, that infidelity, [but] he continued to [work with her]. And then I received all the text messages and the other third parties kind of let me know. It’s something I was well aware of,” Shanna explained before saying, “He is dating her sister {Kourtney] now, so I think that would be really weird.” Kim denied that a hookup between her and Travis ever happened.
Shanna and Travis were married from 2004 to 2008 and the newlywed phase of their marriage was chronicled on the MTV reality series ‘Meet The Barkers.” They share two children, son Landon, 18, and daughter Alabama, 16. Travis also helped raise Shanna’s daughter Atiana, 23, from her previous relationship with Oscar De La Hoya. All three children were present at Travis’s Italian wedding to Kourtney, as well as the three children she shares with Scott Disick – Mason, 12, Penelope, 9, and Reign, 7.
Travis and Kourtney had a total of three wedding ceremonies. The pair first had an impromptu ‘practice’ wedding in Las Vegas with an Elvis impersonator in early April. Then they made their union official with a courthouse wedding on May 15 in Santa Barbara before finally having their lavish wedding celebration in Portofino, Italy, on May 22.
