Last week on NXT 2.0, Wendy Choo & Roxanne Perez would have a series of pranks against Toxic Attraction. From locking Mandy Rose in a tanning bed, to stealing the keys and shoes of Gigi Dolin & Jacy Jayne – they certainly got under the skin of the golden trio. Tonight, Perez & Choo will team up to take on the reigning NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions who are ready for some revenge – but risk losing their gold tonight.
More Questions Than Answers From Joe Gacy & Bron Breakker
First, we’d catch up on the happenings in the NXT Championship scene. Last week, NXT 2.0 closed out with a battle over the NXT Championship. Bron Breakker was able to defeat Joe Gacy – but was beaten down and abducted after the match.
Two masked men used steel chairs, before Gacy pulled him off into the night. We’d catch this footage as NXT began – but it left more questions than answers. The masked men were not revealed, Breakkers fate was left unclear – and Gacy is more unhinged than ever.
Toxic Attraction Put NXT Women’s Tag Team Championships On The Line
Choo would come off the top rope before the bell as Toxic Attraction stood together in the ring. Dolin would meet Choo in the ring, before having both arms wrenched. Perez set up a roll up, but missed a tag to Jayne. A big neckbreaker gave Jayne time to taunt Choo on the apron, but Choo made her pay with a big belly to belly suplex.
Choo would follow up with a front handspring into an elbow, before Perez nailed a big dive to the floor – wiping out both champions. In the ring, Dolin would regain control for a near fall – and would control Choo throughout the picture in picture break – and quick tags to Jayne helped to chop the ring in half.
Choo would try to gain control, but missed a blind tag to Dolin. A forearm strike allowed the tag to Perez, who was able to take Dolin down for a standing corkscrew moonsault. Choo hit the Naptime Elbow, before Perez would look for a dive. Mandy Rose got into the ring, but Choo took her out.
A superkick from Jayne to Perez, allowed Toxic Attraction to remain champions. After the bell, it was a three on one assault on Choo. Will Perez & Choo get revenge against Toxic Attraction? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
