Duke Hudson might have bitten off more than he could chew once again. Last week on NXT 2.0, he’d call out the reigning NXT Champion – Bron Breakker. Breakker had walked past Hudson during a backstage interview, which was more than enough to get Hudson heated. Now, he’s got a chance to prove that maybe he belongs in the main event of In Your House – not Joe Gacy.

Cameron Grimes Is Ready To Shut Down Carmelo Hayes

Before this match, Cameron Grimes would trade words with Carmelo Hayes ahead of In Your House. He’d cut deep saying that Nathan Frazier is better than Carmelo Hayes, so as a tune up – he will take on Frazier next week. Add in saying that Hayes will always just been known as simply ‘a champion’ when the history books are written, Hayes is getting fired up.

One week from Saturday is In Your House. Currently, Cameron Grimes vs. Carmelo Hayes, Toxic Attraction vs. Katana Chance & Kayden Carter, Mandy Rose vs. Wendy Choo, Pretty Deadly vs. Creed Brothers, and Bron Breakker vs. Joe Gacy are booked for the event.

Joe Gacy Provokes The Temper Of Bron Breakker

Gacy & his robed goons would start this one off by staring down at the ring. Breakker would slam Hudson into the ring, before hitting a picture perfect Frankenstiner and Exploder Suplex. Hudson would hit a jab to the jaw before a double axe handle, and would choke Breakker on the ropes.

Breakker would roll himself into a front chokehold on Hudson, who would slip the floor once free. Hudson would hit a lariat as Breakker followed, getting a two count after rolling Breakker back into the room. Breakker would hit a big boot in the ring, before both Hudson & Breakker went for lariats causing a double down in the middle of the ring.

Hudson would be able to apply a rear chinlock, but failed to keep control. A superplex attempt would see Hudson shoved down to the ring. Gacy and his goons would come to ringside as Breakker was tripped up onto the top rope. Hudson hit some slugging blows in the middle of the ring, but Breakker kicked out at two.

Razors Edge was blocked with a backdrop, before Breakker hit some shoulder tackles. He’d drop the straps before hitting a Cactus Clothesline over the top rope. The Goons would attack, and Gacy baited a chair shot. Hudson got hit, and won the match by DQ. If that happens at IN Your House, Gacy will win the belt.
