Carmelo Hayes & Trick Williams are determined to once again make Hayes the A-Champion of the brand. This has them on the radar of the new champion Cameron Grimes & Solo Sikoa – who is next in line. Hayes gets his next title shot at In Your House – and has a chance to get some extra damage in tonight.

Cameron Grimes & Solo Sikoa Work Fine As A Tag Team

Williams & Hayes would rush down Grimes & Sikoa to start this match, with Hayes sent out of the ring. Sikoa beat down Williams with a PK, before hitting a shoulder thrust in the corner. Grimes & Sikoa took turns kicking away at Williams, before Hayes would get control on the side of his time with a big springboard lariat.

Sikoa would almost regain control, but Hayes ran a distraction allowing Williams to hit a running neckbreaker. Quick tages would allow Hayes & Williams to maintain control of the match, but Sikoa would not stay down for a three count. Trash talk from Hayes would keep Grimes fired up on the apron, but Sikoa couldn’t get near a tag.

Williams missed a splash in the corner however, and Grimes would be able to get into the match. He’d come in hot, and send both opponents out of the ring with a double hurricanrana, before a PK to Williams and a diving crossbody to Hayes.

Grimes was ready to hit Cave-In, but Sikoa would tag himself in. A quick brawl saw Hayes take Grimes out – before being planted in the ring by Sikoa. The diving splash would land, and Hayes was not kicking out from that.

Lash Legend Advances In NXT Breakout Tournament

The NXT Women’s Breakout first round matches continue, and Tatum Paxley has a tough fight ahead of her. NXT 2.0 fans are already aware of just how dangerous Lash Legend can be, and tonight she has a clear goal in mind as she squares off with Paxley.

Legend rushed in fast with a back elbow, and nearly pinned for the win. Paxley applied a headscissor lock, but Legend was able to get free. She’d almost lift Legend into an Electric Chair Position, but Legend was able to counter.

Paxley would have her knee bent in the ropes, before Legend would apply the Stretch Muffler in the middle of the ring. Legend would be rolled up as Paxley escaped, before taking a snap suplex. Electric Chair was blocked again, and a pump kick landed for the win – Legend moves to semi-finals.
